Vote to Review is an independent product review site. Readers vote on what we cover next; we spend real time with each product before publishing.
Why this exists
Most product reviews online are written quickly, by people who didn't buy the product, optimized for search engines rather than readers. The result: glossy top-of-page roundups with no real opinion. We wanted a place where the questions came from the audience, the reviewers actually used the thing, and the conclusions could be uncomfortable when they needed to be.
Who runs this
Vote to Review is run by Seth Lam — software engineer, lifelong gadget buyer, and the person on the receiving end of every review. Suggestions, corrections, and angry emails go to support@votetoreview.com.
What we cover
We focus on a small number of categories so we can go deep: computer accessories (monitors, mice, keyboards), home entertainment (TVs, sound bars), audio (headphones, speakers), and home products (vacuums, coffee makers, air purifiers). If a category isn't listed and a product gets enough votes, we'll expand.
Editorial independence
We don't let manufacturers approve copy, change scores, or pre-review pieces. When a review involves a paid relationship — sponsorship, gifted product we kept, or affiliate links — that's disclosed on the review itself.
