I have lived with Dysons for the last decade and Samsung does not, in general, get on my appliance shortlist. The Bespoke Jet AI got on it because of a single line on the box: the Clean Station auto-empty dock is included. Dyson charges an additional couple hundred dollars for the same thing on the models that even offer it. That alone changed the math.
In use the Bespoke Jet is a competent, well-built cordless that does the things you'd expect a cordless to do without drama. The brushless motor is quieter than a V15 by a small but noticeable margin. The handle has a circular digital readout that tells you the mode, the battery, and any blockages, which is the kind of small affordance that makes a tool feel finished. The dock empties the bin automatically when you park it, which is the feature I most underestimated and now refuse to give up.
The AI Dynamic Suction is the marquee feature and the one I find hardest to argue strongly for. It adjusts the power based on what kind of floor it detects and how much debris is around. It works. The suction does ramp up when you cross from hardwood onto a rug, and it does ease off when the floor is clean. It also doesn't fundamentally change the cleaning experience the way the V15's laser did for me. If you were going to buy this for the AI alone you would feel mildly cheated. If you were going to buy it for the dock and got the AI in the bargain, you'll be pleased.
For Samsung households the SmartThings integration is a real feature; you can schedule it, see the dock status, and roll it into automations with the rest of the Samsung ecosystem. For everyone else it's a checkbox that doesn't do much. I don't have a Samsung TV, fridge, or washer, and SmartThings sat unused on my phone the whole time.
The complaints are the usual cordless complaints with one extra. It's heavier than a V15 in the same configuration, and I felt it in my wrist after a long living-room session. The bin is on the small side, though the dock empties it for you so it matters less. The premium bundles get expensive fast (closer to nine hundred than seven by the time you've added the second battery and the upgraded attachments) and you should buy the cheaper bundle and live without the extras unless you know you'll use them.
Accessories are competent but less elegant than Dyson's; the hair-tangle resistance is real but a half-step behind the screw tool on the V15. None of this is bad. All of it is the trade you're making for getting the dock in the box. After two months I still find myself reaching for it instead of the Dyson on the days I know I won't have time to empty a bin, which is most days.
Verdict: Buy this if you want a cordless with auto-empty included and you're not already attached to the Dyson ecosystem. If you have a long-haired household, get a V15 Detect for the hair tool.
